Here is a quick synopsis from the author to me.

This is the first book in the series about a 27 yr old woman, named Fionnaghal, who starts off on a journey looking for her missing parents, but ends up finding more than she bargained for.  She finds out that the people she’s been living with are not her real parents, and that her real dad is a mage, and her mom is an angel.  She gets told by a guy, she thought was her Science professor in college, that she was chosen to defeat the evil that is trying to turn the planet into his own backyard.  To do so, she has to ask four of her friends to split up and help find a Fae treasure, bring them together, and along with the Queen of the Fae’s help, vanquish the evil back to where he belongs.  Along the way she will learn who she really is, what she is capable of, and grow closer to the person that became her guide for the quest.
