F250 4X4 X-Cab 460
This truck actually took very little time to build, even though it took a month to build. The hours spent on it was only around 80 or so. I had friends from school come over and help out on it. It started out os half of a 2wd 1/2 ton and also 3/4 ton 4×4. I had all the parts ready for the swap and build days, nights, and later nights. There many a night where quite a few of us didnt even sleep. But it was worth it in the end because the truck goes like a bandit.
87 F250, extended cab, longbed, 4 inch suspension lift, 4 inch body lift, 40″ gumbo monster mudders, 460 cubic inch, 4 barrel holley, heavy duty 4 speed tranny, np208 transfer, sterling 10.25 rear end with a lincoln locker, 3.50 gears, and much more to list but ill bore you so ill list more later.
I didnt have a 4×4 oil pan so I had to get creative. We took the car one and cut it and reversed the sump on it, and also couldnt afford the 60 dollar truck oil pump so I made the car pickup work by making a severe 90 degree elbow and flattening it out to an oval shape, bummer I dont have a pic of it.
I am 6’3″, this is not a little truck by any means. I have a huge pushbar on it now that this picture does not show. Ill put a new pic up eventually.
